Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and strategic development of the centre.
• Lead the team in delivering the National Quality Framework across long day care and sessional kindergarten.
• Develop a modern centre and high-performing team.
• Lead community and family engagement and support educators through collaboration and empowerment.
• Provide parents with feedback and encourage conversations with the Room Leader about children's development.

Qualifications and experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood, Children's Services or a similar field.
• First Aid and CPR certification; Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Protecting Children: Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Early Childhood training.
• National child safety foundation training.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and knowledge of implementing and managing the National Quality Framework.
• Knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Framework and Education and Care National Regulations and Act.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships.

Hours

• The Tarneit Early Learning Centre operates from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Compensation

• Full-time position with an annual salary of $106,625 plus superannuation.
