Central Utility Plant Technician (Night Shift)

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn plant operations
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule
- Employees in this role may be required to participate in the site Emergency Response Brigade and support emergency preparedness activities. Participation includes maintaining required training, certifications, and response readiness in accordance with site policies and business needs.
- Hourly: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20 to $36.92 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, and adjust plant equipment (boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.)
- Perform routine inspections and log readings of all utility systems
- Respond to alarms and abnormal system conditions
- Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment
- Maintain accurate operational logs and reports
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with teammates during shift turnover
- Support emergency response as needed
