Role overview

Supports procurement, supplier management, contracting, financial operations, reporting, and process improvement for clinical drug supply operations.

Acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, using business systems and reporting tools to support operational efficiency, compliance, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve purchasing and CDO order discrepancies, including differences in requisition, invoice, and purchase order pricing or quantities.
  • Set up suppliers and maintain vendor information in vendor management systems.
  • Resolve supplier issues involving damaged materials, incorrect shipments, and returns.
  • Update systems when goods or services are received, close open orders, and initiate timely supplier payments.
  • Identify and resolve invoice payment issues for Stockrooms and the R&D Community.
  • Track outstanding orders and follow up to ensure appropriate closeout.
  • Analyze data, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements with the Supervisor.
  • Provide backup coverage for the R&D PTP Support Supervisor.
  • Mentor junior PTP Specialists in troubleshooting, system usage, and issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize ordering with R&D customers.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
  • Experience supporting contract administration, invoice reconciliation, and payment processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and financial tracking skills.
  • Proficient Excel skills are required; TM1 and SAP experience are preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to report insights to leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
