Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef de Partie (CDP) located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The CDP will oversee key sections of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation and cooking processes meet high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
include preparing ingredients, managing kitchen operations, maintaining food safety and hygiene, training and supervising junior staff, and collaborating with the team to enhance the menu.
The CDP will also monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills, with expertise in relevant cuisines
- Ability to manage kitchen operations, including coordinating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment
- Team leadership skills, including staff training, supervision, and promoting collaboration
- Strong organizational skills, with experience in stock management, purchasing, and cost control
- Passion for culinary excellence and innovation to contribute to menu development
- Diploma or certification in culinary arts or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience as a CDP or in a similar leadership role in the food and beverage industry
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities to handle high-pressure environments
