Install and support access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
The technician participates in an on-call rotation, including potential after-hours, weekend, and holiday client calls.
Installation and support
- Install security-system hardware and cabling as technology evolves.
- Assist with testing installed equipment and basic programming, such as adding card readers, cameras, and alarm points.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs under client agreements or warranties.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems and equipment.
- Perform additional related security technician duties within the role's general skill and ability level.
Team coordination
- Update the team lead daily on work performed.
- Notify the team lead daily of materials needed to complete duties.
Experience and education
- The posting requests 2–4 years of experience and separately lists two years of CCTV Technician experience as preferred.
- A diploma is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person.
