Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Project Manager – Catering (Offshore)** to oversee and manage all catering and hospitality services for offshore operations.
The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality food service delivery, strict compliance with offshore safety and hygiene standards, efficient resource planning, and smooth daily operations for offshore personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end offshore catering operations, including meal planning, preparation, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with offshore HSE, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Oversee catering contractors and service providers, ensuring performance meets contractual standards.
- Develop and monitor budgets, controlling costs without compromising service quality.
- Coordinate logistics for food supply, inventory management, and offshore deliveries.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of galley, pantry, and storage facilities.
- Manage workforce planning for offshore catering teams, including chefs, stewards, and support staff.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Maintain strong communication with offshore installation management and client representatives.
- Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and service performance updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in catering management, ideally within offshore, marine, oil & gas, or remote site environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP certification is an advantage).
- Experience managing large-scale catering operations for offshore or industrial camps.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in challenging offshore environments and rotational schedules.
- Strong budgeting and vendor management experience.
