Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Category Manager – OPEX Procurement** to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for office and onshore project operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement categories, optimizing supplier performance, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category management and sourcing strategies for OPEX-related procurement.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to support procurement decisions.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage procurement plans.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and category performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Category Manager, Procurement Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of OPEX procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
- Experience supporting office operations and onshore project environments.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
