Catering Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end in-flight dining experiences and menus tailored to customer preferences, prior feedback, dietary needs, and budgets.
• Maintain catering quality standards and manage supplier pricing data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial terms.
• Manage catering order finances, including purchase orders, invoice verification, and reconciliation; maintain complete order and supplier records.
• Log and escalate issues and feedback; communicate with Cabin Hostesses before flights to confirm catering receipt and standards.
• Build supplier relationships, ensure compliance with financial, contractual, and service standards, and resolve supplier issues promptly.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, invoicing, and reconciliation.
• Supplier relationship experience, ideally in food and beverage, luxury hospitality, aviation, or a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of international cuisines and dietary requirements; food and beverage experience in an innovative or upmarket hotel or restaurant.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving; able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English; competent with Outlook, Excel, Word, web-based systems, and search engines.
• Prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
