Catering Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Cambridge Regional College, Cambridge, CB4 2QT. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to become part of a busy catering team, helping to provide excellent food and customer service to students, staff, and visitors. • Assisting with food preparation and service
• Serving students, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions
• Replenishing counters and service areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the catering team with the smooth day-to-day running of the service About you
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of food hygiene and food safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and organised approach to work
• Good attention to detail
• Basic numeracy skills to support till work and stock control
• Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential Important Requirements
