Front-end associates direct customers to open registers and support assisted checkouts throughout the store.
The role processes transactions accurately and promptly using the GET checkout process.
Customer service
- Greet and engage customers during transactions, thank them, and acknowledge customers waiting in line.
- Demonstrate product and service knowledge and suggest suitable options.
- Promote services such as credit, extended warranties, tool rental, and Pro Services.
- Follow safety and loss prevention procedures and front-end processes that mitigate shrink and protect assets.
Qualifications and working conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to two years of retail or cash experience is an asset.
- Physical duties include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
- The flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends.
- The work environment is a warehouse that may be dusty and noisy, with drafts and temperature changes from frequently open doors.
Pay
- The stated pay range is $18.85 to $19.85; no pay cadence is specified.
