Career Land Center is hiring a Cashier for an F&B company in Kuwait.
The role handles guest payments, billing accuracy, cash control, and professional guest interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Process guest bills, cash and card payments, refunds, and other approved transactions accurately.
- Prepare and check bills, maintain the cash float and daily records, and balance cash, card slips, and system transactions each shift.
- Coordinate with service staff on billing and charges; respond to guest payment questions.
- Report billing errors, shortages, overages, or system issues to a supervisor or manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized cashier area and follow cash-handling, discount, void, refund, and approval procedures.
- Support guest flow during busy periods and follow company, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Previous cashier experience and strong experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, hospitality groups, or high-volume F&B operations.
- Knowledge of billing, cash handling, and payment processing; POS system experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, customer service, and communication; able to work under pressure.
- Honest, reliable, organized, and professional; able to use basic computer tools and prepare daily cashier reports.
- Good command of English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
- Must be willing to relocate to Kuwait.
