Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments accurately, and ensuring a positive customer experience at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and invoices as required.
- Maintain an accurate cash register and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout area.
- Report any discrepancies, issues, or customer concerns to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and financial transactions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Cashier, Retail Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
