Overview
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented **Cashier Phillipinne preferred** to join our Lebanese store.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and delivering excellent customer service in a culturally rich environment that offers traditional Lebanese goods and foods.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchases.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and issue receipts.
- Ensure pricing is accurate and handle returns or exchanges according to store policy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, particularly Lebanese goods such as spices, sweets, produce, and specialty items.
- Assist in bagging items and providing carry-out service if needed.
- Restock shelves near the cashier area and monitor product display quality.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and management.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Philipinne are most preferred.
