We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team.
The ideal candidate will handle transactions efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and maintain accuracy in cash handling and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- **Transaction handling**: Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- **Customer service**: Greet customers, answer queries, and resolve complaints.
- **Sales support**: Assist with product information and upselling when appropriate.
- **Cash register management**: Open, balance, and close registers daily.
- **Inventory coordination**: Report stock shortages and assist with restocking.
- **Compliance**: Follow company policies, security procedures, and maintain confidentiality.
- **Record keeping**: Maintain receipts, reports, and transaction logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
