We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Carpenter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and formwork for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
The candidate should be able to read construction drawings, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other building materials.
- Construct and install formwork for concrete structures.
- Install doors, windows, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and other carpentry components.
- Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Minimum **1–5 years** of experience as a construction carpenter.
- Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
