About the Role

• We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of **Qatar Airways Cargo Operations Team** as a **Cargo Freighter Operations Supervisor** in our office in **Jeddah, KSA.**
• Some of the tasks include:
• Initiate Coordinate between Sales/GSA to GHA including booking priorities, clear FBL instructions and priorities are given to GHA’s, special cargoes are handled correctly, pre-alerts sent.
• Implement strategies to enhance services offered whist reducing operational costs incurred in the region.
• Ensure robust and consistent reporting at the station level to identify all non-conformances for all stakeholders in the supply chain including GHA, GSA/Sales, Booking discrepancies, Ramp, Hub (for import problems). Ensure all irregularities are centrally recorded in CROAMIS.
• Maintain the freighter on time performance and ensure no delays occur due to ground operations throughout the delegated region. Whereby all arrangements to be made well ahead of time in order to avoid any delays at the respective station in the region.
• Ensure discrepancies and non – conformances are minimized in order to reduce claims and penalties at the respective station to increase customer satisfaction and reduce carrier liability.

Qualification

• To be successful in this role you will need:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4 years of job-related experience in air cargo management
• Proven experience in Aircraft turnaround coordination and warehouse handling
• knowledge in Dangerous Goods and Live Animal certifications
• Knowledge in aircraft weight and balance.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
