Role Overview
Cargo Flight Operations Agent coordinating cargo operations within airline flight schedules.
The role manages cargo handling from acceptance through loading and unloading and works with flight crews, ground operations, customers, and freight forwarders.
The position is based in Mascot, New South Wales, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate loading, unloading, transport, flight schedules, and resource allocation for cargo operations.
- Ensure cargo meets safety, weight distribution, securing, hazardous materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete and oversee air waybills, manifests, customs forms, records, and operational reports.
- Resolve discrepancies, delays, damage, and misrouted shipments and communicate corrective actions.
- Provide OH&S oversight and liaise with flight crews, ground handlers, customers, and freight forwarders.
Candidate Profile
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including data entry, scheduling, document management, and record-keeping.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Competence with computer systems, Microsoft Office, and digital databases.
- Professional, reliable, flexible, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
