The Captain Waitress is responsible for assisting the Restaurant Supervisor in the scheduling shifts of the restaurant staff and ensuring that all the employees carry out their duties efficiently.
He will be assisting in the daily restaurant operations related to service and he will also assist for ensuring that the food health and safety regulations are strictly followed in the service section.
Your duties will consist of but will not be limited to:
1.
Work in close cooperation with the kitchen and stewarding as well as the Restaurant Cashiers to ensure a smooth-running operation.
2.
Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with the Restaurant Operations.
3.
Monitor duty schedules of the restaurant staffs.
4.
Ensure the proper appearance and grooming of the restaurant staffs.
5.
Providing excellent wait service, greeting the customers and escort them to their tables.
6.
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies).
7.
Inform customers about the day’s specials and up-sell additional products when appropriate.
8.
Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
9.
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses and maintain a tidy dining area.
10.
Monitor table status and deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
11.
Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
12.
Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
13.
Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meal.
14.
Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes to the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. events or parties).
15.
Follow all relevant health department regulations.
16.
Provide excellent customer service to customers.

Qualifications
- Must have a proven work experience in Fine Dining Restaurants.
- Must be locally available in Qatar.
- Must have a valid QID and NOC and can join immediately.
- Must speak English & Tagalog
