Role summary

Helps maintain a safe, secure, and professional store environment for customers, associates, visitors, and vendors.

Helps prevent financial and physical loss, reduce shrink, and protect people, merchandise, and the shopping experience.

Asset protection duties

  • Patrol the store and check that doors, showcases, and security features are functioning properly.
  • Investigate financial and physical shrink and report findings to Store Leadership; escalate internal cases to the Market Loss Prevention Manager as directed.
  • Conduct or support internal theft, external theft, organized retail crime, and assigned Global Ethics investigations.
  • Support evacuations and emergency procedures, and carry out external apprehensions when required under company policies and legal standards.
  • Communicate information and findings to leadership and other stakeholders; assist with store task team responsibilities.

Minimum qualifications

  • A Security Guard License is required. The posting lists age 16 or older as a minimum qualification.
  • Open to shifts that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs., and perform repetitive stocking and organizing tasks.

Pay

  • Minimum rate of pay starts at $20.35 per hour.
