Camp Boss role in the MEP/construction industry, overseeing the company's worker accommodation camp in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily camp operations and supervise accommodation facilities, cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance.
- Monitor room allocation, occupancy, and employee check-in and check-out records.
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, security, catering, transportation, and other camp arrangements.
- Ensure drinking water, sanitation, waste disposal, and camp facilities are properly arranged.
- Monitor food quality when catering is applicable.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, and disciplinary matters to management; resolve workers' accommodation complaints.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and UAE accommodation regulations.
- Prepare daily or monthly reports and maintain camp documentation.
Requirements
- Previous Camp Boss experience is required; UAE experience in construction or MEP accommodation management is preferred.
- Requires communication and coordination skills and ability to manage many workers and resolve accommodation issues.
- Requires basic computer skills for records and reports, and knowledge of camp hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Must be able to work independently and coordinate with management.
