Role Overview
ABCL Safety Consultants is hiring a Calibration Engineer in Dubai to perform calibration work and maintain records.
The role supports compliance with technical standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate measuring instruments and testing equipment through on-site and in-house activities as required.
- Prepare calibration reports and certificates and maintain calibration records, equipment registers, and traceability documents.
- Ensure activities comply with applicable standards and procedures; maintain calibration equipment and monitor due dates.
- Assist with laboratory quality management and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least two years of relevant calibration experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures, measurement uncertainty, and traceability.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements is advantageous.
- Good technical reporting, communication, and organizational skills.
- A UAE driving licence is advantageous.
Work Location
- Work location is in person; duties include on-site and in-house calibration.
