Café Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the café to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Manage and supervise café staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and motivation.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies, ingredients, and café materials.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and compliance with company standards and health regulations.
• Manage cash handling, billing, daily sales reporting, and basic financial records.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
• Develop strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and overall café performance.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the quality and presentation of food and beverages.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and workplace discipline.
• Support marketing activities, promotions, and special events to increase customer engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of café operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, sales reporting, and inventory management.
• UAE experience is preferred.

• Experience in specialty coffee or café operations.
• Strong understanding of customer experience and hospitality standards.
• Ability to manage staff performance and operational efficiency effectively.
