Role overview
Leads event setup operations and provides direction for event preparation and guest experience.
Event and banquet operations
- Direct banquet setup, Meetings and Convention Services, and Facilities teams to prepare event spaces to client specifications and inspect them on schedule.
- Oversee event breakdown and cleanup to maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness for future functions.
- Guide furniture care, floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, and banquet space presentation.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing banquet functions.
Guest experience and team leadership
- Collaborate with culinary and food and beverage teams to monitor service and product quality, address guest feedback, resolve issues, and improve banqueting.
- Build a diverse, high-performing team and foster a guest- and team-member-centered environment.
- Manage and coach banquet and facilities team members, address issues promptly, and promote a motivated, collaborative workplace.
