About This Role
Overview
Our client is a leading High-Frequency crypto trading firm with some of the brightest people in one of the world’s fastest-growing and most exciting industries.
They are looking for a highly talented Software Engineer
who has experience with high-load/low-latency applications.
You will be working on developing and optimising trading systems, algorithms, and market data and exchange connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain market data components, and exchange connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Develop and maintain trading algorithms and add new features to the trading system.
- Optimise existing trading system for micros/nanos.
- Be a team player and work collaboratively with different teams to maintain and improve trading systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working with high-load and low-latency applications.
- Expertise in optimising low latency applications and crunching micros/nanos.
- Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Good knowledge of network protocols. Exposure to Websockets, FIX, Kafka will be an added advantage.
- Experience in financial markets and/or high-frequency systems.
Experience
- in developing trading strategies will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and debugging skills. Ability to debug critical issues.
