Buyer – Raw Materials & MRO

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of raw material and MRO supply categories is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

• Uses communication skills to regularly exchange information.
• Review and improve existing methods, tools and processes. Contribute to sharing of best practice within own area.
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
