Works with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on requirements definition and delivery, with work intended to improve performance, reduce costs, drive growth, and mitigate risk.
What You'll Do
- Translate client objectives into clear, testable system and functional requirements and clarify requirements throughout development, testing, and deployment.
- Prioritize and refine requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and analyze requirements across applications, data, integrations, and workflows.
- Analyze current and future-state systems, processes, and data flows for gaps, dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical teams on feasibility and solution design and facilitate stakeholder workshops and working sessions.
- Support test planning, validate delivered functionality, confirm production readiness, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and support sprint planning.
- Manage scope, timeline, and technical risks, escalating issues and supporting resolution.
What You'll Bring
- Currently enrolled in a business and/or technology major with a strong interest in management consulting.
- 2+ years of business analysis and/or business systems analysis experience.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile software development approaches.
- Experience with UML use case or sequence diagrams and/or BPMN or data flow process modeling.
- Experience with data mapping, data modeling, or data handling such as SQL or Tableau.
- Familiarity with integration patterns such as REST basics, batch versus real-time, or event-based processing.
- Ability to manage consolidated business requirements with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Clear communication, facilitation, prioritization, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
