Role overview

Supports cross-functional sourcing teams with analytical work for process improvement and commodity initiatives.

Conducts data collection, analysis, reporting, supplier qualification, and measurement for assigned commodities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Requests for Proposals and Requests for Information, forecasts, and economic trend analysis.
  • Support negotiations and maintain applications for contracts, performance, and sourcing.
  • Contribute to category implementation plans and analyze results after implementation.
  • Prepare complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations using e-procurement tools.
  • Research spending, supplier financials, Total Cost of Ownership, and financial models to evaluate supplier qualifications and reliability.
  • Support procurement policies, Sarbanes-Oxley, Supplier Diversity policy, and other audit and regulated procurement requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
  • Experience with vendor sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Experience using research questions to guide data gathering and benchmarking is preferred.
