Business Intelligence Engineer II ROW SHARP

Job Description

• ROW Supply Chain Analytics team is looking for an innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer .
• Candidate must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, excellent technical skills and should be able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
• The BIE will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives.
• You will partner closely with program, product and technology teams to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers.
• You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.
• Key job responsibilities
• Converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information
• Writing high quality SQL codes to retrieve and analyze data.
• Working with large data sets, automate data extraction, and build monitoring/reporting dashboard
• Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events
• Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
• Communicating complex analysis and insights to our stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Should be open to learn and develop skillsets in the latest technologies and analytical techniques

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
