About the role
- As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions to improve decision-making processes.
- You will work closely with various teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Your primary duties will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
- Developing and implementing data models, data warehouse solutions, and ETL processes.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security across all BI solutions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to BI tools and solutions.
- Providing training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting systems.
- About you
- The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of information technology and have over four years of experience in administering, managing, and tuning SQL databases.
- They should be proficient in implementing and managing data management practices and policies, possess a solid understanding of data and schema standards and concepts, and be skilled in integrating and troubleshooting ETL processes from ERP systems.
- Additionally, the candidate must have knowledge of data warehousing, including the development of SSIS packages and SSAS cubes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or a similar edition will be a plus.
