Role purpose and portfolio

Drive new-business growth by acquiring new clients and partners for Arabic.AI Group enterprise services.

The portfolio spans Tarjama LSP services, Ureed Secondments, and Content Lab services, sold consultatively and in combination.

The role covers the UAE market and focuses on self-directed hunting, target accounts, and winning new business.

New-logo acquisition and planning

  • Own new-logo acquisition in assigned markets, segments, and accounts and achieve business-development and revenue targets.
  • Research target-account business models, priorities, products, footprint, customers, growth plans, language needs, providers, procurement, stakeholders, and pain points.
  • Build account plans, stakeholder maps, account-specific penetration approaches, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify decision-makers, influencers, buying centers, and entry points; qualify opportunities rigorously using MEDDPICC or an equivalent method.

Prospecting and sales

  • Prospect through physical meetings, calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, events, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Generate pipeline independently and with Marketing, account-based marketing, channels, and partners.
  • Understand client requirements and position relevant LSP, secondment, or Content Lab services.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, commercial propositions, and quantified ROI/business cases with internal teams.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and deals from prospecting through closure, directly or through strategic partners.
  • Win structured bids and RFPs, particularly government-driven opportunities, while developing repeatable pipeline.

CRM, collaboration, and engagement

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report pipeline, forecasts, conversion rates, activities, and expected closures.
  • Follow up on opportunities, analyze pipeline performance, improve conversion, and track win-back efforts for lapsed or lost accounts.
  • Coordinate with Production, Marketing, and other teams to ensure commitments are deliverable and proposals are customized.
  • Support smooth handover from closed opportunity to implementation and account ownership.
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions, including relevant staffing and secondment job fairs, to prospect and build client and partner relationships.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings with local-market clients and stakeholders.

Experience and qualifications

  • At least 8 years of proven experience in business development, new-business sales, or hunting roles.
  • A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is preferable.
  • Multi-product/portfolio sales experience is an advantage; consulting experience is a plus.
  • A good understanding of language and translation services and relevant market-sector challenges.
  • Agency experience, especially in language services, localization, media, creative, marketing, content, or related B2B services, is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of acquiring new clients, closing B2B deals, managing target accounts, and building pipeline from zero.

Capabilities

  • Strong prospecting, networking, negotiation, closing, account research, business intelligence, commercial, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Able to handle mixed short-, long-, and bid-driven sales cycles, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage ambitious targets.
  • Proficient with MS Office Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; excellent spoken and written English.
  • Behavioral competencies include adaptability, problem solving, initiative, teamwork, and working under pressure.
  • Technical competencies include deal management, CRM and sales tools, proposal writing, bid/RFP management, ROI, and business-case development.

Market and travel

  • The role covers the UAE market and requires willingness to travel approximately 25–50% to the UAE, typically one or two business trips per month depending on business needs.

Employment

  • The source employment type is full-time.
