Core Responsibilities
- Develop strategic business plans and implement business strategy with NHS and private-sector partners.
- Maximize sales and growth, achieve targets, and deliver revenue across the portfolio.
- Manage stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, provide forecasts, and lead projects.
Customer and Territory Focus
- Bring together NHS hospitals, NHS community providers, and private healthcare providers to strengthen point-of-care provision.
- Work across different stakeholder levels and support Abbott's leadership in rapid diagnostics.
Profile
- Degree or higher in business, biological science, or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of the UK healthcare industry, NHS, and private healthcare providers.
- A track record of profitable growth, strong interpersonal influence, organization, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Diagnostics or medical devices industry and sales experience is preferred.
Territory
- The territory includes Merseyside, Lancashire, and Cumbria, and the successful candidate should be based within the region.
