Role Overview

Lead infrastructure business development for Hempel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The position is based in Dammam and reports to the Head of Business Development Infrastructure, EMEA.

The role focuses on customer relationships, project specifications, market presence, and commercial growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Infrastructure business development strategy in line with Hempel's Energy and Infrastructure objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities across targeted accounts, projects, and value chains.
  • Strengthen Hempel's specification position and market presence in Saudi Arabia.
  • Build relationships with owners, developers, consultants, EPCs, and contractors.
  • Engage projects early to drive specifications, approvals, and project opportunities.
  • Develop strategic and non-buying accounts into sustainable long-term opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor markets, competitors, and upcoming projects.
  • Deliver agreed business development and commercial KPIs.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, project sales, key account management, or commercial roles.
  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, industrial, or engineering sectors.
  • Experience engaging consultants, contractors, EPCs, developers, and project owners.
  • Understanding of specification selling and project-based sales environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large territory.
  • Regular travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is required.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred.

Work Location
