The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth across a portfolio of digital platforms and technology solutions.
The role focuses on acquiring new clients, generating business opportunities, and positioning the company’s offerings, including project execution, recruitment solutions, and digital services, as structured and scalable solutions for organizations.
Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify and target companies that require digital solutions, including project execution, hiring, and technology services.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the client base.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects across multiple industries.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets related to client acquisition and revenue growth.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Present tailored solutions based on client needs (projects, recruitment, digital services).
- Convert leads into active clients utilizing the company’s platforms and services.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the ecosystem.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with decision-makers (HR, Operations, IT, Management).
- Ensure smooth onboarding and initial engagement of new clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor during the early stages of client interaction.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and develop partnerships with corporates, agencies, and ecosystem players.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to align growth initiatives.
- Support the development of B2B collaborations that drive platform adoption.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records (pipeline, forecasting, deal tracking).
- Track and report key KPIs:
- New clients acquired
- Revenue generated
- Conversion rates
- Client activation
- Provide regular performance insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or B2B growth roles.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Required Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to build and manage B2B relationships.
- Experience working in fast-paced, growth-stage environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SaaS, digital platforms, recruitment solutions, or technology services.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive, HubSpot).
- Experience in the Qatar/GCC market is a strong advantage.
