Sales and business development
- Develop relationships with electrical traders, distributors, and key customers across the UAE.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
- Promote and sell electrical cables and accessories, including cable glands, lugs, and cable ties.
- Visit customers, understand their requirements, and generate enquiries and orders.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross-profit targets.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and identify new business opportunities.
Collections and coordination
- Take ownership of customer collections and outstanding payments; ensure timely receivables collection and a healthy customer portfolio.
- Ensure sales comply with approved credit limits and payment terms.
- Coordinate with sales support, purchasing, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
Market monitoring and reporting
- Monitor market prices, competitor activity, and customer buying patterns.
- Provide regular reports on sales, collections, customer visits, and market opportunities.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in UAE electrical trading, particularly electrical cables and cable accessories.
- A strong network among electrical traders, distributors, and retail shops.
- A proven track record of generating profitable sales.
- Strong ownership of customer collections.
