Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) at RAI-TECH.
The BDM will identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, integrators, and end customers in agriculture, landscaping, and related sectors.
Daily responsibilities include prospecting targeted markets, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and virtual meetings, and managing a structured sales pipeline.
The role involves preparing and delivering product presentations, understanding client needs, and proposing tailored solutions based on RAI-TECH’s sensor, weather station, and irrigation technologies.
The BDM will collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings, gather market feedback, support pricing and proposals, and track performance against sales targets and KPIs.
Regular reporting, CRM updates, and participation in virtual events or industry webinars will also be part of the day-to-day work.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships, with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical solutions.
- Knowledge or interest in irrigation, agri-tech, IoT devices, or related technical products, with the ability to quickly learn product features and benefits.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including clear written communication and confident virtual meeting facilitation.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, basic sales analytics, and standard productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, channel development, or partner management is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
