An Architecture & Engineering Consultancy multidisciplinary design and BIM firm with over 50 years of combined expertise. Their capabilities across multiple disciplines have enabled them to navigate the complexities of various industries. From corporate giants to educational institutions, cultural icons to pharmaceutical leaders, they have successfully delivered projects that go beyond the ordinary. Rooted in innovation and driven by impact, they support clients in bringing visionary projects to life -from concept through to coordinated, construction-ready models.
The company will operate in Saudi Arabia as a sub-consultancy firm, established by three founding partner companies with a combined legacy of delivering projects across Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, the United States, the UAE, Africa, and several other regions. Together, they bring a workforce of over 300 professionals, including design staff, site engineers, and support personnel.
Their services include Architecture & Engineering Consultancy, MEP Design, Architecture and Design, Structural and Transportation Engineering, BIM (Building Information Modeling), as well as 3D Visualizations and Animations. They have successfully conducted projects for: PepsiCo, Nestlé, P&G, Unilever, Novartis, Pfizer, Roche, GSK, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Samsung, Huawei, Marriott, Shell, ADNOC, World Bank, Citibank, CNBC, and others.

About the role:
The Business Development Manager will work closely with the CEO and the Business Development Committee to drive business growth for the company by identifying new opportunities, expanding the client base, and implementing strategies to strengthen the company's market position in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities:
A- Business development & growth
● Identify and develop market intelligence and uncover new business opportunities to expand the company’s presence in Saudi Arabia.
● Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring revenue growth.
● Represent the company at key industry events and establish long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
B- Strategic planning
● Implement business strategies to align with the company’s objectives and market trends as per the instructions of the Business Development & Marketing Committee.
● Continuously analyze market potential and develop forward-looking, targeted plans to secure sustainable business growth across the firm’s core domains, including Architecture, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Bridge Engineering, and Transportation Engineering.
C- Collaborative development & pipeline management
● Collaborate with the design team during the early stages of project pursuit to ensure alignment with client needs and positioning.
● Direct and follow up on the proposal preparation and tendering process carried out by the company secretariat.
● Provide insights into the competition, prevailing market rates, and relevant local conditions to ensure proposals are competitive and well-informed.
● Collaborate with technical teams to analyze client requirements and ensure timely, competitive, and compliant submissions, with all technical discussions and presentations led by the design team leads.
● Provide regular forecasts and performance reports to management.
D- Client relationship management
● Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
● Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs.
● Coordinating with the project teams during the project execution stage and conveying clients requirements.
● Ensure high levels of customer service and responsiveness to client inquiries.
Key result areas:
● Achieve assigned sales growth targets and expand the firm’s footprint in Saudi Arabia.
● Successfully execute business growth strategies, capturing new market opportunities.
● Increase client retention rate and percentage of repeat business.
● Ensure 100% compliance with local business laws and industry regulations.
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field.
● Mi
nimum 5 years o
f experience in business development, preferably in the AEC industry.
● Proven track record in client acquisition and project development.
● Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
● Commercial mindset with understanding of Saudi Arabia's business regulations and market dynamics.
● Excellent English language.
● Fluent Arabic.
● Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
