Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the contracting and construction industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractor prequalification and vendor registration processes with government entities, major corporations, and private sector organizations.
The role also involves developing and marketing contracting services, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company’s scope of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contractor prequalification and vendor registration processes with government entities, corporations, and key clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and contracting sectors.
- Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies for contracting services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and analyze competitors to identify growth and expansion opportunities.
- Support tendering and bidding activities, including proposal preparation and submission.
- Expand the company’s service portfolio and contracting scope to increase market share.
- Coordinate with internal teams to secure project awards and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction and contracting industry.
- Proven experience in contractor prequalification and vendor registration processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement and tendering procedures within government and corporate sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to develop strategic growth plans and achieve business objectives.
