Business Continuity Specialist - PayLink
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Continuity Specialist to develop, implement, maintain, and test Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans and operational resilience frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment, and Disaster Recovery (DR), with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and business continuity standards.
This role will work closely with IT, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure the continuity of critical business services, minimize operational disruptions, and strengthen organizational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Continuity Management: Develop, implement, review, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP), policies, procedures, and recovery strategies.
- Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Conduct Business Impact Assessments to identify critical business processes, dependencies, Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks and potential disruptions affecting critical business services.
- Disaster Recovery Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams to align Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) with business continuity objectives and recovery requirements.
- BCP Testing & Exercises: Plan, coordinate, and document business continuity exercises, tabletop simulations, and recovery testing activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) requirements, applicable regulatory frameworks, and internal business continuity policies.
- Incident Response & Crisis Management: Support incident response, crisis management, and business recovery activities during operational disruptions.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track business continuity performance, identify gaps, prepare management reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to maintain business continuity readiness and deliver awareness and training activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Review testing results, incidents, and audit findings to improve business continuity processes and organizational resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), or Operational Resilience.
- Practical experience conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessments, and Business Continuity Testing.
- Understanding of Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Familiarity with SAMA regulatory requirements related to business continuity and operational resilience is preferred.
- Experience in FinTech, banking, payment gateways, financial services, insurance or other regulated industries is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAMA regulatory requirements related to business continuity and operational resilience is preferred.
