Business Analyst (Open Account Trade)

Overview

• We are hiring for Business Analyst (Open Account Trade) for one of the leading banking clients based out in UAE.
• Minimum 5 to 8+ years of experience of handling Open Account Trade products (namely receivables finance, payable finance, factoring, invoice and cheque discounting) & processes in operations , Business Analyst or both , client support and IT having exposure to channel and backend processing systems
• Understanding business objectives, strategic plans with high capability to comprehend the organization’s goals and problems ,resolutions.
• Defining and documenting customer business functions and processes
• Domain expert in Open Account Trade products & processes, across Conventional and Islamic Finance passionate about translating visions into solutions and contributing to a continuous cutting-edge business and organization customer experience
• Identifying, defining and documenting business needs, requirements and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and levels of systems access after consulting with functional unit management and personnel
• Analyzing the practicability , gaps and developing requirements for new systems and upgradations to existing systems
• Certified Scrum master or agile coach with experience on agile practices would be an added advantage
• Ensuring the system design is perfectly aligned as per the needs of the users and business ask
• Creating test scenarios, test cases based on the business requirement, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business.
• Participating in user acceptance testing and undertaking the functionality testing of new system
• Assisting to business and product intents meetings and coaching technical and non-business staff on the product intents, business requirements and value to customers.
• Developing a training curriculum and conducting formal training sessions covering assigned product module
• Acting as a team lead on designated projects or assignments and providing work directions to one or more technical or clerical staff.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders across functions
• Skilled in preparing & reviewing SIT, UAT test cases and ensuring all positive and negative functional and non-functional scenarios are covered
• Able to guide the business on value added changes and avoid non-value-added changes with focus on business process transformation
• Work closely with Product Owner and Business stakeholders to identify the prioritized backlog items and expand the required user stories in an incremental deliverable
• Demonstrated experience with processing documentation and re-engineering
• Skilled in MS Office applications word, excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira or equivalent Confluence
• Prior exposure to Oracle suits and IMX(Codix) would be an added advantage.
• Work with highly skilled banking experts in wholesale banking with deep expertise in Open Account Trade business and Operations, Trade and respective channels, where they will be designing best-in-class products.
