Responsibilities
- Understand complex business needs, structure them, and progressively deepen the analysis.
- Produce appropriately scoped analysis to support frequent and incremental delivery.
- Analyze and document requirements, features, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify impacts on business processes, business areas, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to feature- and story-level backlog refinement with the PO and PM.
- Contribute to test scenarios and UAT.
- Challenge responses rather than merely recording them, and escalate blockers promptly.
Requirements and experience
- Formal Senior Business Analyst role with documented BA deliverables.
- Individual or personal insurance background, such as life, health, disability, or annuities, is required for the stated role profile.
- Ability to work autonomously in agile, product, matrixed, and ambiguous environments.
- Experience on large-scale, multi-team programs or projects.
- Ability to learn a domain quickly and build credibility with stakeholders.
- Claims knowledge is an asset, ideally in individual insurance claims such as disability, death, or critical illness.
