Role overview
The Business Analyst bridges business needs and technical solutions by translating goals, operating models, processes and challenges into outcome-focused requirements.
The role supports NS&I's Business Transformation Programme through scope definition, process modelling, gap analysis, requirements, feasibility and benefits realisation.
Location and working arrangement
- The role can be based at one of four UK offices: London, Durham, Preston or Glasgow.
- The organisation is working hybrid, with colleagues expected at their chosen office for 40% of the working month.
Responsibilities
- Investigate business problems and opportunities, identify root causes and needs, and shape projects to address them.
- Research, analyse and model current and proposed processes; conduct gap analysis to identify implementation actions.
- Prepare objective reports and presentations that support communication and decision-making.
- Evaluate options and support business-case development through funding approval.
- Elicit and define requirements for business and IT change, maintaining traceability and alignment with strategic delivery partners.
- Support acceptance testing and deployment of business and IT changes.
Qualification
- BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent.
Role details
The post is fixed-term for 23 months, with full-time working pattern.
