About This Role
Key responsibilities
- Elicit and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases through workshops, interviews, and observation.
- Analyse current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state processes with measurable benefits.
- Create functional specifications, data mappings, wireframes, and mockups to guide development.
- Translate requirements into user stories and prioritise the backlog with product owners and stakeholders.
- Support solution design, participate in sprint planning, clarify requirements during development, and validate deliverables.
- Execute user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinate test scenarios, capture defects, and verify fixes.
- Produce business cases, impact assessments, and ROI analyses for proposed changes.
- Maintain traceability of requirements through the delivery lifecycle and ensure regulatory/compliance considerations are met.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, manage expectations, and provide status reporting.
- Contribute to process improvement, change management, and documentation (SOPs, training materials).
- Required skills & qualifications
- Degree in IT, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5+ years’ experience in IT business analysis or product/BA roles.
- Strong requirements-writing, process-mapping, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Confluence) and experience authoring user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Basic technical understanding of APIs, databases, integration patterns, and software development lifecycles.
- Proficiency in modelling and prototyping tools (Visio, Figma, Balsamiq) and Excel for analysis.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Pay: QAR20.00 - QAR35.00 per hour
