Key Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, user stories, use cases, and process mapping.
• Analyse business processes, identify gaps and opportunities, and propose IT-enabled solutions.
• Produce clear, testable requirements artifacts: functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and process flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, developers, QA, UX, operations) to prioritise backlog and shape scope.
• Support solution design and feasibility assessment; evaluate impacts on systems, data, and operations.
• Create and maintain documentation: BRDs, FRDs, user journeys, wireframes, and traceability matrices.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review sessions; clarify requirements during development.
• Define and coordinate UAT: develop test scenarios, support testers, capture defects, and verify fixes.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to validate requirements and inform decisions (SQL, Excel, BI tools).
• Support change management: readiness assessments, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure requirements adhere to compliance, security, and performance standards.
• Monitor project delivery, report status, risks, and escalate issues; participate in post-implementation reviews.
• Mentor junior BAs and contribute to BA best practices and templates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years IT business analysis experience (adjustable by level).
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Hands-on data skills (SQL) and proficiency with Excel; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Experience with requirements/issue-tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, IIBA ECBA, or Agile certifications (CSPO, CSM).
• Domain knowledge: finance, healthcare, e‑commerce, telecoms, or other industry-specific experience.
• Experience with API specifications, UML, BPMN, and basic understanding of architecture concepts.
• Scripting or light development experience (Python, JavaScript) for prototyping or automation.
• Pay: QAR141.17 - QAR322.13 per hour
