A Business Analyst (BA) plays a key role in helping organizations improve processes, systems, and decision-making by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
What a Business Analyst Does
A Business Analyst analyzes how a business operates and identifies ways to make it more efficient, profitable, or scalable.
Core Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering
- Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs
- Document functional and technical requirements
- Data Analysis
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
- Use tools like Excel, SQL, or BI software
- Process Improvement
- Evaluate current workflows and suggest improvements
- Design optimized business processes
- Communication
- Act as a bridge between business teams and IT/developers
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Solution Implementation
- Support system implementation or upgrades
- Participate in testing (UAT – User Acceptance Testing)
Key Skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Communication and stakeholder management
- Data analysis (Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.)
- Understanding of business processes
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and software development
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: QAR96,000.00 - QAR144,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
