Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparing working budgets.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, forecasting and modeling, accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Assist in preparing academic and grant budgets.
• Work with Finance and Grants departments to track state third-party funding sources properly.
• Review expenditures and prepare operating budgets for the Center for Emerging Pathogens and Infectious Diseases to ensure compliance with budgetary limits.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus one year of experience maintaining budgeting and fiscal records.
• Equivalent experience, education, and/or training may substitute for the education requirement.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency with computer-based spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Compensation
