Responsibilities

  • Performs technical discipline tasks related to bridge and bridge-related work including research, report preparation, design, and specification/plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Assists with business development activities, including meeting with clients.
  • Assists with preparing and coordinating proposal efforts to secure work.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance for junior engineering staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • 6+ years of bridge design experience.
  • PE is a plus.
  • Experience on NYSDOT, and Local Administered Federal Aid transportation projects.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Bridge Design Software
  • Knowledge of ASSHTO and NYSDOT specifications and standards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships skills.

  • Salary Range: $87,000 – $130,000
