Branch Manager
About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of a supermarket branch. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in supermarket or retail operations, team management, customer service, sales growth, stock control, and achieving branch targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete day-to-day operations of the supermarket branch.
- Ensure achievement of branch sales, profitability, and customer service targets.
- Supervise and motivate department supervisors, cashiers, storekeepers, and sales staff.
- Monitor staff attendance, duty schedules, discipline, grooming, and performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Monitor stock availability, ordering, expiry, wastage, and stock rotation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing departments for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular branch inspections to ensure cleanliness, merchandising, and safety standards.
- Monitor cashier activities, cash handling, refunds, discounts, and daily cash closing.
- Ensure proper implementation of promotions, displays, and pricing.
- Analyze daily sales reports and take action to improve performance.
- Control branch expenses and reduce unnecessary costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene, food safety, and UAE municipality regulations.
- Handle branch opening and closing procedures.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly branch reports.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, staff performance, leave, and disciplinary matters.
- Investigate stock shortages, damages, and operational issues.
- Ensure the branch is audit-ready at all times.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
