Grove, Saadiyat Island.
We are one of the world’s most exclusive fine jewelry houses, designed and
manufactured entirely in New York.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in high jewelry or ultra-luxury retail is required, bringing a proven background in sales, clientelling, and boutique management.
Candidates must already be based in the UAE — relocation will not be provided.

namesake founder redefined high jewelry.
Known for creating exquisitely crafted, bold and unique jewelry, David Webb is widely considered one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.
Today, each David Webb creation is imbued with artisanal excellence and handwork, while drawing inspiration from a vast archive of over 40,000 original renderings, records, and design ideas.
Form is essential in all David Webb jewels, and bold color, hand-hammered gold, intricate enamel work, and whimsical animal pieces continue to be prominently featured in the company's collections.
We are headquartered in an historic Neo-Classical building on Madison Avenue in New York's Upper East Side.
Over 30 long-tenured master jewelers continue many of David Webb's own traditions, hand-crafting each piece in a workshop directly above the Company's flagship boutique.
In addition to its New York City flagship, David Webb currently has boutiques in Beverly Hills, CA, Doha, and is expanding its presence throughout MENA with its newest boutique at The Grove.
Position Overview
The Boutique Manager for David Webb Abu Dhabi will be a pivotal leader responsible for
driving the growth and success of the boutique within one of the region’s most dynamic and culturally rich luxury markets.
This role demands a rare combination of exceptional sales ability, masterful clientelling, and the leadership acumen to operate a high jewelry boutique at the very highest level.
The successful candidate will bring an established book of UHNW clients across the UAE, a deep and genuine passion for high jewelry, and the commercial vision to elevate David Webb’s presence among Abu Dhabi’s most discerning collectors and connoisseurs.
Sales And Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed high jewelry sales targets across the MENA region.
- Leverage an existing UHNW client book to drive revenue and deepen the boutique's presence within Qatar's luxury community.
- Work closely with retail teams to optimize high jewelry assortment planning and stock development, ensuring a compelling and relevant offering for our discerning clientele.
- Actively animate stores to create an exceptional high jewelry experience for clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with VVIP Clients through bespoke experiences and engagements in high-value environments such as art galleries, private members clubs, and exclusive events.
- Deeply understand the lifestyle, preferences, and desires of our high jewelry clients to provide personalized service and build lasting relationships.
- Maintain meticulous client records, tracking preferences, purchases, and milestones to ensure a seamless and deeply personal continuity of service.
Team Leadership Development
- Recruit, build, and lead a dedicated high jewelry team, fostering a culture of excellence, passion, and client-centricity.
- Implement comprehensive training and coaching programs for the high jewelry team and broader retail teams, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and client engagement.
- Set and maintain exceptional standards of boutique presentation, ensuring the environment consistently reflects the pinnacle of luxury.
Product Expertise & Market Insight
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the high jewelry market, including trends, competitor activities, and client preferences.
- Provide insights and feedback to regional and global teams on product development and market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in high jewelry or ultra-luxury retail, with a significant and proven track record in sales, clientelling, and boutique management.
- An established book of UHNW clients within the UAE, with demonstrated ability to cultivate, retain, and grow high-value client relationships over time.
- Exceptional clientelling skills — a deeply intuitive, relationship-led approach to sales that builds enduring trust, anticipates unspoken needs, and creates lasting loyalty.
- Consistent record of exceeding sales targets within a high jewelry or ultra-luxury environment, with the commercial instinct to identify and capitalize on opportunity.
- Deep experience working with UHNW individuals and an innate understanding of the expectations, nuances, and absolute discretion their world demands.
- Proven ability to lead and elevate a boutique team, setting and maintaining the highest standards of performance and client experience.
- Extensive knowledge of precious gemstones, rare materials, and the artistry and craftsmanship that distinguish truly exceptional high jewelry.
- Experience with heritage jewelry houses or established high jewelry maisons is essential.
- Impeccable personal presence, refined communication, and cultural fluency across Abu Dhabi’s diverse and discerning luxury clientele.
- The position is based at our Abu Dhabi boutique, The Grove, Saadiyat Island, and relocation will not be provided.
