Bodyshop Estimator

Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body and paint repairs required.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labour, spare parts, materials, and painting costs.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals, quotations, and repair claims.
• Liaise with customers, service advisors, technicians, and parts teams to ensure smooth repair processing. Monitor repair estimates, follow up on approvals, and ensure accuracy in job cards and repair documentation. Skills and Qualifications:
• Diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive bodyshop estimation, preferably in a dealership.
• Knowledge of insurance claims and vehicle repair procedures.
• Experience with bodyshop estimating software and DMS is an advantage.Vehicle damage assessment and repair estimation.
• Knowledge of automotive bodywork and paint repairs.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and cost estimation accuracy.
• Computer skills and familiarity with estimating systems.
