Hydro blasting and surface preparation
- Operate high-pressure water jetting and hydro blasting equipment for industrial cleaning and surface preparation.
- Blast ship hulls, decks, tanks, pipelines, steel structures, and other industrial surfaces as required.
- Remove rust, old coatings, marine growth, scale, and other contaminants using approved water jetting techniques.
- Select nozzles, pressure settings, and equipment based on job requirements and surface conditions.
- Follow required surface preparation standards and project specifications.
Equipment and coordination
- Inspect pumps, hoses, connections, guns, lances, and safety devices before operations.
- Assemble, maintain, and operate equipment according to manufacturer instructions and project procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, painters, coating applicators, and team members to complete work efficiently.
- Report equipment defects, leaks, damaged hoses, and unsafe working conditions immediately.
- Maintain housekeeping and keep work areas clean and safe.
Safety and records
- Follow permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and job safety procedures.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and comply with site HSE requirements.
- Maintain daily work records and report completed activities to the supervisor.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,800–2,100 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
